Founding Partner
Carlos O. Bermúdez Monroig, Esq.
Mr. Bermúdez is a founding partner of the Firm and has been its Managing Partner since its inception in 2010. Mr. Bermúdez has ample experience counseling clients in corporate and commercial matters, regularly advising a broad range of clients, including banks and other financial institutions, residential and commercial landlords, and real estate investors, among others in a myriad of corporate and regulatory matters, including entity formation, mergers, and acquisitions, debt financing, debt restructuring, licensing, contract review and negotiation. Mr. Bermúdez also has vast experience assisting clients in the acquisition of loan portfolios, having participated in transactions with an aggregate value of over $50 million dollars. Mr. Bermúdez is admitted to practice law and act as a notary public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Before founding Bermúdez & Díaz L.L.P., Mr. Bermúdez was an associate in the Corporate Department of O’Neill & Borges, LLC. Mr. Bermúdez holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico.

Reggie Díaz Hernández, Esq.
Mr. Díaz is a founding partner of the Firm. Mr. Díaz’s main areas of practice and expertise include general labor and employment law, including employment termination, discrimination, and retaliation claims, among other areas, in local and federal courts as well as administrative forums. Mr. Díaz also has significant experience in general civil and commercial litigation practice, primarily assisting banks and other lenders in foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Díaz is admitted to practice law and act as a notary public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and is also admitted to the United States District Court, for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States First Circuit of Appeals.
Before founding Bermúdez & Díaz L.L.P., Mr. Díaz worked as an associate in the Labor and Employment Law Department of Fiddler González & Rodríguez, P.S.C. Prior to that, Mr. Díaz worked as an associate in the labor and Employment Law Department of Goldman Antonetti & Córdova, P.S.C. Mr. Díaz holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics & Spanish from The Pennsylvania State
University, State College, Pennsylvania.

Jackeline López González, Esq.
Miss López joined the Firm in 2019 as an associate attorney. Throughout her tenure with the Firm, Miss López has been actively engaged in our notarial practice group, focusing on mortgage banking and commercial matters. Miss López has developed significant experience in creditor’s loss mitigation initiatives, which include loan modification agreements, short sales, and partial claims to loan guarantors. Miss López is admitted to practice law and act as a notary public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Miss López holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico.
Yolanda I. Martínez Delgado, ESQ.
Miss Martínez joined the Firm in 2018 as an of-counsel and is actively engaged in our notarial practice group. Miss Martínez started her career as an associate attorney with Javier Feliciano Guzmán, PSC, focusing on residential developments and mortgage banking. In October 2017, she started her private practice offering services on matters regarding mortgage banking, creditor’s loss mitigation initiatives, foreclosures, residential developments, and other real estate and civil transactions. Miss Martínez is admitted to practice law and act as a notary public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Miss Martínez holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law
and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico.
María Celeste Colberg Guerra, Esq.
Mrs. Colberg Guerra joined the Firm as an of-counsel in 2021. She began her practice in the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico as a judicial clerk for Associate Justice Hon. Francisco Rebollo-López until his retirement. Mrs. Colberg Guerra was also an associate in the Litigation Department at O’Neill & Borges, LLC., and worked as an Associate Legal Counsel at Doral Bank. As part of her responsibilities at Doral Bank, Mrs. Colberg Guerra was in charge of supervising several title and collateral remediation projects within the residential and commercial portfolios prior to and as part of transactions for the purchase of said portfolios and OREOs. Her areas of practice are general civil and commercial litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative forums, as well as appellate practice. Mrs. Colberg Guerra is admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico, before the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Mrs. Colberg Guerra is also a notary public.
Mrs. Colberg-Guerra received a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in 2003, majoring in both, International Relations and Anthropology, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico Law School in 2006.
